Within the framework of the BlueIslands (Interreg Mediterranean) program, the Region of Crete, focusing on the protection of the coastal environment, the sustainable management of waste produced within the coastal zone and the development of a sustainable tourism model, has chosen the construction-proposal created by the collaboration by AELIA SUSTAINABLE ENGINEERING with Costa Nostrum, as a 'Good Practice' implemented with the aim of spreading it to other participants in the program as well as throughout the European Union.
